Introducing The Berean Expositor
This is a magazine which is issued 4 times a year commencing January each year, and bound volumes are available since 1909. The B.E. has held a unique place among among expository publications. While the fundamentals of the faith such as Inspiration of the Scripture, the Deity of Christ, and the basic necessity of His one sacrifice are most tenaciously held, the outstanding character of this magazine is its adherence to the principle of Right Division, (2 Timothy 2:15) and the encouragement of the Berean attitude (Acts 17:11). The student will find every help given concerning the original Hebrew and Greek words, and a unique feature of the exposition is to give the literary structure in such cases where it is deemed to be helpful.
The Jubilee of the magazine was marked in 1959 by the issue of a special number. This consisted of a well produced booklet of 32 pages, setting out the history of The Berean Expositor and the work of The Berean Forward Movement, which is the name of the ministry at its time (now known as The Berean Publishing Trust). A copy of the water-colour of The Chapel of the Opened Book in London was sent out with the Jubilee edition of The B.E. in 1959.
